Active Value Management Equity Analyst (f/m) at ISP Mergers & Acquisitions Department (Milan)

• 12 months secondment contract

The candidate will be involved in following activities:

• Monitoring and management of direct/indirect investments in the portfolio, also through contacts and meetings with the management of invested companies and/or fund management companies
• Assessing, structuring and execution of extraordinary operations related to the area of competence
• Company valuations applying the main methodologies (DCF, multiples, etc.)
• Financial modeling in excel with forecast, scenario, and sensitivity analyses
• Involvement in the internal decision-making process of transactions, with reference to the preparation of documentation, application of internal procedures, operational and administrative obligations related to the transaction in progress
• Collaboration and interaction with other structures within the Group, as well as with law firms, tax firms, consultancy firms and advisors external to the Group to perform activities such as assessments, due diligence with physical and virtual data rooms, preparation of contractual documentation
• Preparation of documents and reports to monitor company performance

Candidates must fulfil following requirements:

• Degree in economics or management engineering
• Capacity and attitude for quantitative analysis
• Proficiency/good knowledge of Italian (written and oral)
• Proficiency/good knowledge of English (written and oral)
• Ability to work on projects and in teams
• Concise, analytical, and flexible thinking
• Knowledge of financial report analysis
• Knowledge of company valuation methodologies
• Knowledge of M&A transaction processes
• Knowledge of Office package (especially Power Point and Excel: ability to process quantitative models)
• Knowledge of main databases and data sources (e.g. Bloomberg)
• Previous experience in private equity, corporate finance/M&A, audit or strategic consulting (investment banking, consulting firm, Big Four) is highly desirable
